We are on the Yorkshire three peaks Challenge Trail!

In and around Ingleton, renowned for its scenery are many beautiful walks, including the Ingleton Waterfalls Walk, and other unique attractions including White Scar Caves and The Ingleborough Show Cave.

With over 3,500 caves and potholes and 400km of surveyed passages, the area is well known for having the best caves and potholes in the country catering for both the experienced caver and the novice. Gaping Ghyll, which is a pothole 365 feet deep, has possible descents during May and August Bank Holidays if you’re up for giving it a try. It’s free to go down, but you have to pay to get back out!

There is plenty for the walkers including Ingleborough, Pen-Y-Ghent and Whernside, the 3 Peaks Walk totalling 24.5 miles. The famous Ribblehead Viaduct is just a short walk along the road from The Old School Bunkhouse.
